Judy Laverne Haynes Yerby McFall
was born at Hardin County General Hospital in Savannah, Tennessee on January 13, 1954 the daughter of the late John Arnold and Lily Beatrice Williams Haynes.
On March 10, 1972, she was united in marriage to James Eugene (Peddy) Yerby, I, who preceded her in death on March 5, 1984. She was later married to Lance Ray McFall, who survives.
Judy worked at Stop and Shop for 9 years and Piggly Wiggly for 8 years. She also worked at Hardin County Nursing Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant, doing work that was dear to her heart. Judy attended Hopewell Baptist Church and Second Creek Church of Christ.
She loved life, work and family and her grandchildren were dear to her heart. She always had an open door and heart for anyone who needed anything. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She departed this life on May 10, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 52 years, 3 months and 27 days.
Judy is survived by her husband, Lance Ray McFall of Savannah, Tennessee;
a daughter, Misty Ann Yerby Little and her husband, Chris, of Savannah;
a son, James Eugene Yerby, II, of Savannah, Tennessee;
5 grandchildren: Jordan Yerby, Tyler Yerby, Kelsey Yerby, Summer Harrelson, and
Alex Walker Yerby; one brother, Edwin Haynes and his wife, Candy, of Savannah;
3 sisters: Jennie Posey and her husband, Jerry, of Florence, Alabama,
Shirley Morris and her husband, Larry, of Savannah, and Denise Wylie and her husband, Tommy, of Savannah; her step-mother, Helen Haynes of Savannah; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray Haynes and a sister, Barbara Sue Howard.
