Judy Wood

Judy Plunk Wood was born October 15, 1944 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee the daughter of Lena Hester Plunk and the late Calvin Plunk.She was united in marriage to Jack Wood on October 21, 1967.Mrs. Wood was a pharmacy clerk for 13 years at Rexall Drug Store in Selmer, TN. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nanny, and friend. She opened her home and heart to many children in McNairy County and they loved her in return. She was a lover of life, a giver, and always saw the best in others. Mrs. Wood departed this life peacefully on November 18, 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 1 Month, 3 Days. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jack Wood of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, John Wood and wife Stacy of Bethel Springs, TN; two grandchildren, Lauren Grace Wood and John Bradley Wood both of Bethel Springs, TN; three sisters, Joyce Dickey and husband Charles of Bethel Springs, TN, Jeanette Webster and husband Jimmy Dale of Bethel Springs, TN, Pat Davis and husband Jack of Selmer, TN; a brother, Tim Plunk and wife Paula of Bethel Springs, TN; host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
