Judy Hooks Wilson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 26, 2019. She was born April 2, 1947 in McKenzie, AL the daughter of the late Ed and Dessree Wiggins Hooks. In 1971, Judy met the love of her life Billy "Pete" Wilson and enjoyed their life together raising their children, traveling, and being with their family.
Judy had a special love of flowers and birds. She enjoyed sitting on their porch watching the deer, the hummingbirds, and all of God's creatures. She also loved fishing in their pond. Judy never met a stranger - everyone she met instantly became her friend.
Other than her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Hilary Hooks; sisters, Edna Hall, Gracie Capps, and Opal Lee; a son, Jerry Lewis, who died on January 29, 2019.
She is survived by three daughters, Paula Crockett and husband Ethan of Leesville, LA, Elaine Eastman and husband Richard of Olive Branch, MS, Tammy Wilson of Holly Springs, MS; seven grandchildren, Billy Lewis, Michael Lewis (Paige), Heather Lane (Ryan), Ashley Wiley (Chris), Drew Calhoun (Caitlin), Shawn Crockett, Haley Eastman; six great grandchildren, Ryleigh Lane, Carson Crockett, Wyatt Lane, Easton Lane, Caroline Calhoun, Paisley Wiley; a brother, Floyd Hooks (Karen); brother-in-law, Forrest Wilson (Carolyn); sisters-in-law, Joy Norris (Bill), Connie Langley, Tricia Clark (Tommy), Kathee Rosteck (Tom), Pam Schadowsky (Tom). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
