JUDY ROGERS
Enville, TN: Judy Ann Rogers, age 79 passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at her home.
She was born in Milledgeville, TN September 9, 1942 daughter of the late Herman D. and Sara Frances Rainey Pusser. She was a 1960 graduate of Milledgeville High School.
She married Jack Rogers on December 9, 1961 and they made their home in Enville. When Mr. Rogers died in June of 2022, they had been married for 60 years.
She was primarily a wife and stay at home mother but had also worked at HIS Sportswear in Saltillo, TN and as a nurse’s aide at Adamsville Nursing Home.
She and her husband also owned and operated a grocery store called J & J Grocery and Grill in Milledgeville for several years.
She is survived by a son, Michael Rogers of Milledgeville, TN; daughter, Tina Burke (Russ) of Enville, TN; five grandchildren, Jessica Sweat (Shawn), Mitchell McKenzie (Alisha), Felicia Rogers, Chelsea Armstrong (Warren), and Bianca Boleyn; and eleven great grandchildren, Tyler, Lexie, London, Auri, Bella, Nova, Collyn, Jayce, Jayden, Willow, and Anthony.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two sons, Anthony Rogers and Steven Rogers; a brother, Ray Pusser; and sister, Edna Faye Cromwell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Bro. Gene Hanna officiating. Burial will follow at Milledgeville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crook Avenue.
