Judy Armour King

Judy Armour King was born June 26, 1941 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Kenny and Ardie Terry Armour.

She was united in marriage to James Gorman King on January 5, 1960. Mr. King preceded her in death on April 9, 2019, following 59 years of marriage.

Judy formerly worked in production for different area manufacturers. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, rock hunting, and reading. She loved her family and friends and was always willing to help anyone. Judy read her Bible faithfully every day and always leaned on the Good Lord for strength to get through the many trials she faced in life, and encouraged everyone else to do the same.

Judy departed this life on December 26, 2021 in Hornsby, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 6 Months. She is survived by a son, James Keith King of Hornsby, TN; a grandchild, Colton James King of Hornsby, TN; a sister, Shirley Ferguson of Hornsby, TN; three nieces: Cindy Gee of Hornsby, TN, Regina Olness of Bethel Springs, TN, and Janice Crouse of Selmer, TN; a nephew, Joey Wilson of Hornsby, TN; special lifetime friend Mary Helen Hurst of Columbus, MS; and many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Judy was preceded in death by three sisters: Linda Gee, Faye Ferguson, and Carolyn Wilson, and a grandchild, Austin King.
