Judy Lynn Franks Butler was born May 7, 1951 in Tiptonville, Tennessee the daughter of Retha Wright and the late Roy Franks.
She was united in marriage to Donnie F. Butler on January 14, 1968.
Mrs. Butler had worked at ITT and Brown Shoe Company. She was a strong spiritual Christian lady and was a member of the Kossuth Worship Center. She had many hobbies and interests, her favorite hobby was her grandchildren. She enjoyed arts and crafts while at McNairy County Healthcare and participated in all the activities, like to quilt, and enjoyed word search. She was third runner up in the King and Queen of McNairy County Healthcare. She was very proud that she had lived to see five generations of her family.
Mrs. Butler departed this life on April 3, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 59 Years, 10 Months, 27 Days. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Donnie F. Butler of Millington, TN; a daughter, Joanna Bauer and companion Timothy Smith of Ramer, TN; two sons, Donnie Butler and wife Candy of Bethel Springs, TN, Christopher Butler I and wife Shawna of Corinth, MS; eight grandchildren, Kristie Bauer, Monica Bauer, R.J. Bauer, Christopher Butler II, Donnie Wayne Butler, Dusty Butler, Heather Webster, Tiffaney Cima and husband Dennie; mother, Retha Wright Franks of Selmer, TN; six great grandchildren, Kendall Butler, Taylor Butler, Kaitlyn Welch, Luke Webster, Mollie Cima, Tillie Cima; three sisters, Peggy Knight of Bethel Springs, TN, Shirley Bivens of Selmer, TN, Betty Guy of Louisiana; three brothers, Roy Franks and wife Margaret of Arlington, TN, Ronnie Franks of Bethel Springs, TN, and Bobby Franks and wife Judy of Bartlett, TN.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Franks; and three nephews James Noe, Wayne Noe, and Roy Noe.
