Judith Ann Vance

Judith Ann Vance was born November 4, 1950 in Union City, TN to the late James Homer and Reba Nell Alexander Ring.

Mrs. Vance was a Brown Shoe brat and left Kenton for Canada. Finally settling in Selmer, TN where she graduated Selmer High School in 1968. She later attended Jackson State Community College.

She married the love of her life, Jack Thomas Vance. Her first and foremost love was Jesus - her everything. She was one of the founding members of Full Gospel Fellowship church. In her later years, she was a member of Peoples Tabernacle of Savannah. She always strived to have a smile and encouraging words for everyone. Her love of the Lord was present when she taught Sunday school - it was her pleasure to serve God and others.

Mrs. Vance departed this life on July 24, 2023 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 8 Months, 20 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Stevie Leanna Holmes (Michael) of Lexington, TN; stepchildren, James Anthony Vance of MS, Cynthia Richards of CA; grandchildren, Aubrey, Avery, Anna, and Abram Holmes, Cullen and Conner Vance; sister, Sherry Ring Thomas of Savannah, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by daughter, Cynthia Hoffman; brothers, Stephen H. Ring and James Rickey Ring.
