Judith "Judy" S. Nichols

It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Nichols announce her passing on February 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Judy was born in Columbus, Georgia to John and Louise Satterfield. Her father was the Chief of Police for Columbus during her early childhood. She married Paul E. Nichols in April, 1947 and remained married until his death in 1991. Preceded in death was husband Paul and son John R. (Johnny) Nichols. Left to mourn her passing are sons Randy Nichols (Laura) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Jeff Nichols (Tiffany) of Pickwick, Tennessee along with three grandchildren, Ross Nichols, LeeAnne Gerrity (Chad) and Chelsea Roberson (Travis), great-grandchildren, Carter, Braylee and Ava Gerrity. Per her request, there will be no service, but memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Alivehospice.org.
