Judith (Judy) Melody Hammond

Judith Melody (Judy) Hammond was born May 12, 1941 in Long Branch, NJ the daughter of the late William Alfred and Lillie Mae Dennis Hammond.

Miss Hammond was a wonderful, caring, and loving mamaw to all her grandchildren. Two of her grandchildren, Kristi and Melani, were blessed to live close to their Mamaw and Pop. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, watching mother nature's animals, and feeding the cardinals and hummingbirds.

Miss Hammond departed this life on June 24, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 1 Month, 12 Days. She is survived by her life partner,
Bob Puckett of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Tom Davidson of Iuka, MS, Vince Davidson of Savannah, TN; a daughter, Lisa Finchum of Bethel Springs, TN; eight grandchildren, Renee Harris and husband Chris, Justin Givens, Kristi Finchum, Melani Finchum, Liz Davidson Bain, Patrick Walden, Shane Steele, and Ashley Steele Cayson; two great grandchildren, Brantly Murphy,and Miller Bain; three brothers, Robert Hammond and wife Lois of Leonardo, NJ, Billy Hammond of Highlands, NJ, Marty Hammond and wife Sandy of Highlands, NJ; a sister, Ginny Petach of Highlands, NJ; special neighbors, Marsha and Wilbur Lowrance.
