Juanita Moore White was born January 19, 1944 in Crump, TN, the daughter of the late Roger W. and Mary Marguerite Smith Moore.
She was united in marriage to Floyd White on August 15, 1965, who preceded her in death on March 7, 1998.
Juanita spent most of her married life as a stay at home mom, caring for her family whom she loved very deeply, especially her grandchildren. In addition to Crump, she had also lived twelve years in Jackson, TN, a number of years in Beaumont, TX, and finally in Cordova, TN. She was a member of the Crump United Methodist Church, and had also attended Northside United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family.
Juanita departed this life on June 28, 2018 in Cordova, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 5 Months, 9 Days.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Stooksbury and husband David of Germantown, TN; two sister-in-laws, Penny Petersen and husband Jim of Hampton, VA, and Shirley White of Crump, TN; a brother, Roger K. Moore of Baker, FL, and a brother-in-law Steve N. White and wife Judy of Collierville, TN; two grandchildren, Dalton and Riley Stooksbury of Germantown,TN; her mother-in-law, Kate Cherry White of Savannah, TN; and 13 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie E. Moore and wife Diane; her father-in-law, William Floyd White; and her brother-in-law, Billy White.
