Juanita B. Walls, 89, departed this life Friday morning, May 31, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Born April 7, 1924 in Walnut Ridge, AR to Richard and Lottie Sharp Abee, she was a homemaker. She was married to Richard Walls February 28, 1943 who passed from this life on May 16, 1983. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and caregiver to the many children entrusted to her throughout the years; known lovingly as "Me-Mommy". Her kindness of spirit and joyous attitude were an inspiration to all. She lived in Grand Junction for 70 years.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Nancy Bryan of Holly Springs, MS and Jenny Schaub and husband Rich of Middleton; a sister Ada May of Stamps, AR; 5 grandchildren, Mike Bryan of Grand Junction, Michele Bryan Carter of Canton, MS, Cris Bryan of Gluckstadt, MS, Nikki Schaub Stewart of Middleton, and Michael Schaub of Middleton; 4 great grandchildren, Joshua, Kate, Jacob and Cameron; and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
