Joycie Mae McCormick Wages was born December 31, 1943, the daughter of Deward and Verblene McCormick.She was united in marriage to Robert H. Wages Jr. who survives.Mrs. Wages was a longtime employee with Kroger Supermarkets. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church.She departed this life on July 5, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 62 Years, 6 Months, 5 Days. Mrs. Wages is survived by her husband, Robert H. Wages Jr. of Adamsville, Tennessee; parents, Deward and Verblene McCormick of Adamsville, Tennessee; three daughters, Anita J. Moore of Stantonville, Tennessee, Angela Looney of Adamsville, Tennessee, Delaine Stephenson and husband Steve of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Robert A. Wages and wife Nancy of Greenfield, Missouri, Donald Earl Wages and wife Barbara of Holly Springs, Mississippi; three brothers, J. D. McCormick and wife Patsy of Jackson, Tennessee, Thomas Ray McCormick and wife Katie, Travis McCormick all of Selmer, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and godchildren, Levi, Cherish, Ava Jaycie, Lisa, and Keith Perrigo.Mrs. Wages was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Stinson Massengill.
