 Joyce Pierce

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 8, 1940 the daughter of the late James Wilson and Margaret Kelley Riddell.

On September 11, 1959 she was united in marriage to Larry Glen Pierce, who preceded his wife in death on December 2, 2015.

Joyce was a graduate of Savannah Central High School in the Class of 1959. She worked for 42 years as a supervisor for Angelica Company.  She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and Hardin Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.  In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, working with flowers, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Joyce departed this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 18 days.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith Pierce and is wife Lisa and Chris Pierce and his wife Brandy, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Alli Pierce, Tim Pierce, Emma Pierce, and Molly Pierce; one brother, Jerry Riddell of Savannah, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved her very much.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Beth Holt.
