Joyce Yvonne Dunaway

Joyce Y. Dunaway was born March 24, 1938 in Selmer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Eulie and Johnnie Lumpkin Whitaker.On June 21, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ralph L. Dunaway who survives. Mrs. Dunaway was Baptist in faith. She was a van Driver for Southwest Human Resources and had worked for the Brown Shoe Company for 20 years.She departed this life on August 22, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 4 Months, 29 Days. Mrs. Dunaway is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Dunaway of Selmer; a daughter, Cindy A. Jester and husband Brant of Selmer; two sons, Ralph E. Dunaway and wife Teresa of Selmer and Randy L. Dunaway and wife Julie of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; one sister, Rejetta Ferguson and husband J. W. of Selmer; three brothers, Allen L. Whitaker and wife Linda of Franklin, Tennessee, David Whitaker and wife Vicky of Cumming, Georgia, Eddie Whitaker and wife Donna of Jackson, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dunaway was preceded in death by a brother, Benny R. Whitaker.
