Josie Earline Rich

Josie Earline Robbins Rich of Cypress Inn, TN was born December 11, 1925 in Lutts, TN, the daughter of the late William Jasper Robbins and Ruthie Estella Horton Robbins Martin. She was united in marriage to Raymond Rich on January 12, 1947 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1988.



Mrs. Rich was a homemaker and a member of the Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.



Mrs. Rich departed this life on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 2 Months, 19 Days.



She is survived by sons, Earl Rich and wife, Gwen and Jasper Rich and wife, Sherry; son-in-law, Marvin Morrow; daughter-in-law, Brenda Rich; sister, Juanita Berry; sister-in-law, Idell Robbins all of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Casey Rich, Candace Glasson, Joseph and Thomas Rich, Brent and Marcus Morrow, Melissa Brewer, Ginger Pigg, Jennifer Horton, and Tonya Thompson; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Joe Rich; a daughter, Connie Jean Morrow; a brother, William Jasper Robbins Jr.; a sister, Lady Ruth Keeton; step-father, Houston Martin.



Services will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton, John E. Banks, and Marcus Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Pigg, Stan Horton, Brent Morrow, Casey Rich, Joseph Rich, Nick Thompson, John Brewer, Mark Glasson with Thomas Rich, Issac Morrow, Wesley Pigg, Stanson Horton, Fletcher Thompson, Joe Houston Thompson, and Evan Glasson serving as honorary pallbearers.
