Josie Morris

JOSIE CARROLL MORRIS

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 12, 1952 the daughter of the late Aaron Harris and Grace Pearl Anditon Carroll.

On February 22, 1975 she was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Morris, who preceded his wife in death on September 27, 2001.

Josie worked as a caregiver for many. She lived in Hardin County all of her life and was of the Baptist belief. Josie loved doing yard work, gardening and being with her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Josie departed this life on January 20, 2021 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 8 days.

She is survived by her children, Monica Morris of Shiloh, Tennessee and Jason Morris and his wife Jerrie of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Evan Suggs, Aiden Suggs, Peyton Morris, Gabrielle Morris, Austyn Morris, and Jordan Morris; sisters, Linda Ard and her husband Dwain of Tupelo, Mississippi, Ann Williams and her husband Ben of Booneville, Mississippi, and Stella Ray of Spring City, Tennessee; brothers, Wayne Carroll and his wife Gloria of Shiloh, Tennessee, and Neil Carroll of Fort Townsend, Oklahoma.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Carroll and four sisters, Myra Byrd, Janette Patterson, Judy Gober, and Alma Crowley.
