JOSH HALE

Henderson, TN: Joshua James Hale age 47, passed away June 24, 2023 at his home.

He was born January 27, 1976 in Ashland, KY the son of Judy Faye Bagshaw Hale and the late Gary Hale. He grew up in Ashland and graduated in 1994. He also earned a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He worked for many years for the Ashland Fire Department and the Summit/Ironville Fire Department. He also worked for the Belmont Golf Course. He moved to Henderson in 2014 and began working as Superintendent of the Chickasaw Golf Course. He married Suzanne Reed on December 22, 2018.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was an avid outdoorsman.

He loved his wife and family. He was honest, hardworking and generous.

Mr. Hale is survived by his wife, Suzanne Reed Hale of Henderson; his mother, Judy Faye Bagshaw Hale of Salem, IN; two sons, Shannon Hale of Ashland, KY and Will Evans of Ashland, KY; five daughters, Christina Morris of Ashland, KY, Ruby Hale of Springfield, OH, Macy Hale of Henderson, Kendra Johnson of Ashland, KY and Abby Jones of Henderson; three grandchildren, Addie Morris, Gwenn Morris and Noah Morris; two brothers, Jason Hale and Brent Martin and a sister, Dawnice Sohl.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, June 29^th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Andy Reed and David Chasteen speaking.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM service time on Thursday.
