Josey May Victory

Josey May Victorywas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 25, 1925 the daughter of the late William Henry and Lydia Morton Stewart.On June27, 1947 she married Robert Allison Victory, who preceded her in death on June 12, 1961.Mrs. Victory was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. She was an excellent quilter and loved to garden.Mrs. Victory departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the age of 81 years, 11 months, 16 days.She is survived by her 3 sons: Robert Allison Victory, Jr. of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Thomas Hugh Victory of Savannah, Tennessee, and Lister James Victory of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 4 brothers: William Clinton Stewart of Brandon, Florida, Glenn Stewart, Robert D. Stewart, Arnold G. Stewart all of Savannah, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a special niece: Mary Loyless of Rockwall, Texas.In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 2sisters: Mevelyn Francouer and Edna Henson; 2 brothers: Fulton Stewart and Nelson Stewart.
