JOSEPH (MIKE) TAYLOR
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 14, 1949 the son of the late Aubry Maynard Taylor and Allie Marie McFalls McFall Taylor Jones.
On March 11, 1972 he was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Stanfill, who survives.
Mike, as he was known by all his friends, served his country in the United States Army from September of 1968 to August of 1971. After serving in the Army he worked as a truck driver and a mechanic. His most recent employment was at BR Supply in Adamsville, Tennessee. Mike loved to bake and feed his kids, grandkids and anyone else that happened to stop in. His candy jar was always full.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, Barbara of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Brian Taylor and his wife Sherry of Nashville, Tennessee, Joby Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee, Casey Taylor and his wife, Jillian of Savannah, Tennessee and Jill Taylor and her partner Sheri of Counce, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren ; and one sister, Shelba Jean Turnbow.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James L. McFall and one sister, Sheila Neumann.
