Joseph Harvell Head,Sr. was born December 14, 1931 in Douglasville, GA the son of the late Joseph Cicero and Nobie Lenora May Head. Mr. Head departed this life on October 6, 2016 in Lutts, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 9 Months, 22 Days. Mr. Head, a machinist at West Georgia Tool and Die, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Whitesburg, GA, and the Georgia Cattlemen's Association serving as president of Carroll County Chapter.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Harvell Head Jr. of Lutts, TN and Shaun Nicholas Head of Sharpsburg, GA, four daughters, Kimberly Denise Gaines of Carrollton, GA, Karen House of Douglasvillle, GA, Angela Evans of Mableton, GA, and Joey Cunningham of Austell, GA, a brother, Robert Troy Head of Garmisch, Germany and a a sister, Beulah Lee Post of Winston, GA, twelve grandchildren, Jordan Tate, Abigail Tate, Ethan Tate, Cody Head, Caden Head, Ryker Head, Kelby House, Keisha Huffman, Eli House, Brandon House, Eric Evans and Jason Hembree, five great grandchildren. At his request he was cremated.
