Jonathan “Jon†Luther Yopp, 39, of Middleton, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in Jackson.
The son of Bryan Yopp of Ripley, Miss. and the late Katherine “Kitty†White Yopp, he was an auto body repairman. He was born July 20, 1967 in Nashville, graduating from Middleton High School in 1985. He lived in Chester and Hardeman Counties most of his life, attended First United Methodist Church in Ripley, Miss. and loved to fish and hunt.
Memorial services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Middleton chapel with Bro. King officiating.
In addition to his father, survivors include his son, Luke Yopp of Ripley, Miss.; his former wife, Sharlene Yopp of Henderson; one sister, Lee Yopp Gray of Ripley, Miss.; his grandmother, Georgia Yopp of Middleton; one niece and one nephew.
