Jon Mark Ivey was born December 27, 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the son of Mark Ivey and Melissa Seaton.
Jon Mark was a 2006 graduate of Adamsville High School, where he served as President of VICA. He was skilled with his hands, winning second place in a state-wide carpentry competition while in high school. After graduation, he attended Crump Vocational and Technical School, becoming a certified electrician after completing his course of study in only four months. Jon Mark was a member of Adamsville church of Christ, and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Jon Mark departed this life on December 11, 2010 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 22 Years, 11 Months, 14 Days. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Melissa and Tim Seaton of Adamsville; father and step-mother, Mark and Lisa Ivey of Holly Pond, AL; step-sisters Sharonda Bagwell of Holly Pond and Kristie Turnbow and husband Todd of Jackson, TN; step-brothers Kelly Elliott and wife Jennifer of Arab, AL and Timbo Seaton and wife Dana of Shiloh, TN; maternal grandparents James and Jean Hall of Adamsville; paternal step-grandparents Billy and Gerri Seaton of Adamsville; maternal step-grandmother Alice Walker and husband Billy of Hanceville, AL; maternal step grandfather Ronnie Brockman of Cullman, AL; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
Jon Mark was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Carl and Annice McGinnis Ivey.
