Johnny Pulley

Johnny Pulley of Waynesboro was born March 10, 1936 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late William Thomas Elihu (Bill) Pulley and Dena Irene Devers Pulley. Mr. Pulley died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home in Waynesboro at the age of 79 Years, 15 Days. Mr. Pulley served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. He sold real estate and was a farmer.

He is survived by four sons, Ronald David Pulley, Steven Wayne Pulley, Johnny Joe Pulley, and Jonathan Arlin Pulley all of Waynesboro, TN, a daughter, Angela Elaine Pulley Preslar of Huntsville, AL, a sister, Ruby Hazel Donegan of Waynesboro, TN, grandchildren, Sabrina Wilson, Brandy Rodriquez, Matthew Pulley, Christopher Preslar, Danielle Preslar, Allison Preslar, Reginald Pulley, Camiella Pulley, and Winfred Pulley, great grandchildren, Ciera Wilson, Madison Wilson, Gavin Preslar, Briella Preslar, Kyler Preslar, Kelsey Hudson, Tyler Hudson, Daniel Hudson, Aaliyah Hudson, Lashia Pulley, Trinity Pulley, Seth Pulley, and Syler Pulley, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pulley was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur, Billy, Charles, Hardin, Herman, and Bobby Joe Pulley, and sisters, Mary Cole, Ruth Pulley, Aileen Clayton, Charlene Pulley, Pauline Pulley, and Kathleen Miller.

Services will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Larry Janes and Joel Wallace officiating. Burial with military honors will follow near his home in the Pulley Family Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
