Johnny Ray Perry

Johnny Ray Perry, Sr., Perry departed this life on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 8 Months, 21 Days. He was born February 2, 1958 in Hohenwald, TN the son of Dorothy Mae Holt Perry of Waynesboro, TN, and the late Jessie Newton Perry. In addition to his father, Johnny was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Perry and Jessie Dalton Perry.

Johnny was a disabled truck driver and of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by other than his mother, a son, Johnny Ray Perry Jr. of Waynesboro, TN, daughters, Jessica Mills and husband Gary of Loretto, TN, and Misty Risner and husband Trevor of Lawrenceburg, TN. a grandchild, Karson Gladney, brother, Grady Anthony Perry and wife Beverly of Clifton, TN, three sisters, Brenda Shedd of Waynesboro, TN, Jane Booher and husband Eddie of Greenwood, IND, and Donna Shedd of Waynesboro, TN.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 26, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Pallbearers: Mike Meredith, Danny Reaves, Buddy Plunkett, Larry Flatt, Toby Lineberry , Trevor Risner.
