Johnny Cord Mullins

Johnny Cord Mullins, Sr. departed this life on March 22, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital at the age of 53 years, 4 months, and 1 day. He was born on November 21, 1961 in Hardin County, Tennessee, son to the late Billy and Essie Kelly Mullins. He was united in marriage to Cherry Mae McClain on April 13, 1981, who survives.

Mr. Mullins was employed in the sanitation department at Savannah Foods. He was also a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his wife, Cherry, he is survived by his children, Johnny Cord Mullins, Jr. and his wife, Britney of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Jonathan Cord Mullins of Savannah, Tennessee; one brother, Pete Mullins of Savannah, Tennessee; one sister, Diane Harville of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Justin Mullins, Madison Mullins, Cordel Mullins, Emily Mullins, and Katherine Mullins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandchild, Jason Cord Mullins.
