Johnny Mannon Cotner

Johnny Mannon Cotner was born May 11, 1937 in Shiloh, TN, the son of the late Ted and Sarah Cotner. He departed this life on October 14, 2022 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 5 Months, 3 Days.

Johnny was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He served in the TN National Guard from 1955 -1966. He retired after 23 years from Aqua Glass.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rose Chilldress Cotner; his children: Pam Hardy, Jeanie Burleson and husband Randy, Johnny Lee Cotner and wife Jayma; sister, Ruby Cotner; five grandchildren: Seth Hardy and wife Amelia, Kyle Hardy and wife Zoe, Travis Burleson, Garrett Cotner, and Marlee Cotner; three step grandchildren: Jake Tidwell and wife Kayla a baby Elsie, Tanner Tidwell, and Marllorie Tidwell and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cotner was preceded in death by a sister, Arti Jane Smith; two brothers, James Lee Cotner and George Cotner; and a son-in-law, Mike Hardy.
