Johnny Wayne Casteel

Johnny Wayne Casteel departed this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the age of 54 years, 9 months, and 4 days. He was born in Madison County, Tennessee, on May 9, 1964, the son of the late Cecil Wayne and Carolyn Joyce Harmon Casteel.

Johnny was self-employed doing general labor and specialized in yard work. He enjoyed conversing with others, riding on the boat and being on the river, and loved to fish.

He is survived by his son, Dillon Wayne Casteel of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Rita Mae Stephens and her husband Tony, and Kathy Renee Davis and her husband Richard, all of Savannah, Tennessee; a niece, Michelle Byrd and her husband Bill of Killen, Alabama; and a nephew, Phillip Droke of Savannah, Tennessee.

Along with his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert and Maybelle Harmon, Velma Barlow, and Loyas Casteel.
