Johnnie Mullins Ward She was born and reared in the Oak Grove Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late John Linnie and Georgia Morris Mullins. She attended school in Chester County and in 1944 she was married to W.O. Ward of Crockett County. They made their home in Henderson. Mrs. Ward worked at Salant and Salant Mfg. and retired in 1972. She was a member of the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was the oldest member.She is survived by two daughters, Judy Connor and Barbara Paulman both of Henderson; four sons, Johnnie Owen Ward of Ripley, MS, Jimmy Lynn Ward of Henderson, Howard (Bud) Ward of Henderson and Ray Plunk of Jackson; sixteen grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren, and twenty five great grandchildren and eighteen step great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren and 3 step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Ward (1994), a son Don L. Plunk (1991) and three grandsons, Don Plunk, Jr. (1989), Mitchell Connor (1990) and Brandon Bishop (1996) and a step granddaughter Debbie Beasley (1997) and a brother, Robert Howard Mullins.
