Johnnie Sue Thompson Ingle

Johnnie Sue Thompson Whitsett Ingle of Nashville, TN was born November 24, 1941 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late John Silas and Marjorie White Thompson. She was united in marriage to James Marshall Whitsett on December 21, 1958 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1984.

Ms Ingle was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith and departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 9 Months, 6 Days.

She is survived by daughters, Teresa Kay Frogue of Milton, FL, Suzanne Whitsett of Nashville, TN, Angela Gail Dixon of Collinwood, TN; stepdaughter, Sherry Faires of Collinwood, TN; stepson, Darrell Ingle of Murfreesboro, TN; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Thompson and Dwight David Thompson both of Waynesboro, TN; 5 nephews.

Services will be September 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with James Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Lee Thompson, Dwight Thompson, Darren Duncan, Dennis Dixon, Jeremy Fountain and John Dixon.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm and Friday, September 2, 2016 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
