On June 18, 1960, she was united in marriage to Otha Glenn Allen, who survives.
Johnnie departed this life on December 14, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 5 days.
She is survived by her husband, Otha Glenn Allen of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Deborah Allen Patt, and Rhonda Allen Lyon; sisters, Patricia Martin and Jeannette Alexander; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Newman and brothers, Charles Horton, Paulk Horton, David Horton, and Jerry Horton.
