JOHN WILLIAMS
Pinson, TN: John Williams age 72 passed away March 30, 2019 at his home.
He was born November 24, 1946 in St. Louis, MO the son of the late S. J. Williams and Caroline DeRoin Williams. He grew up in St. Louis and moved to Humboldt in his late teens. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1964 and served three years. Upon his return he moved to Nashville and became a truck driver, driving from the East to the West Coast for forty years. He loved being on the road, if not in his truck it was on his Harley Davidson Sportster. He was an animal lover and leaves behind two miniature pinchers, Buster and Missy. He loved guitars and tried desperately to learn to pick. He was a prankster and loved to pick at people. He was very protective of the people he loved and he was well loved by them.
Mr. Williams is survived by two sons, Derek Williams of Pinson and Aaron Williams of Sevierville, TN; a daughter, Wendy Robinson of Portland, TN; three grandchildren, Britney Robinson, Lillian Anstine and William Carr; two brothers, Don Williams of Pinson and Joe Williams of Lexington and a sister, Evon Reaves of Pinson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Delinda McDaniel and Jacqueline Williams.
Mr. Williams will be cremated.
