John Bilburn Sipes

John Bilburn Sipes, age 75 of Toone, passed from this life Saturday, November 13 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.A native of the Teague Community in Hardeman County, he was born January 8, 1935 to the late Wilburn and Audrey Pearline Brooks Sipes. He was a retired truck driver and dozer operator for Tony Hooper, Inc. and was a member of the Toone Baptist Church. Mr. Sipes was preceded in death by his wife Maxine C. Sipes, who passed away June 24, 2002.He leaves as his survivors one daughter, Jane Sipes Reno of Jackson; two sons, Michael John Sipes of Toone and James Thomas Sipes of Jackson; one sister, Mary Ann Elder of Toone; and two brothers, J. P. Sipes and Ricky Sipes, both of Toone; three grandchildren and three step grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Faye Bridges.
