Services for John Thomas Sharp, age 83, of Natchez Lane, Lawrenceburg (Wayne Co.), TN will be Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro with Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Ary Cemetery in Perry County, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, November 21, 2007 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tony Sharp, Austin Sharp, Dave Randolph, Brad Meacham, Jake Meacham, Phillip Tolle, and James Ramer. He died at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro on Monday, November 19, 2007.
Mr. Sharp, a native of Perry County, TN, was a logger and a United States Army veteran and was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Moon Sharp, brothers, Earl, Arlie, Osbie, and Elton Sharp, and sister, Ester Sharp.
Survivors, son, Tony Sharp and grandson, Austin Sharp of Lawrenceburg, TN, brother,
Jack Sharp of Fairview, TN, and nieces and nephews.
