Services for John Wesley Riley, 76, Waynesboro, TN, will be Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 11:00 am at Waynesboro Church of God with John Davis and J. P. Gillis officiating. Burial will be in Shield’s Cemetery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. He died at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN, Tuesday, September 26, 2006.



Mr. Riley, a native of Paducah, KY, was a minister of the Church of God for over forty-nine years and was a veteran of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. He was a son of the late James Ed and Josephine McElroy Riley, the father of the late Ricky Wayne Riley, and a brother of the late George Edward, Earl, and Hoyt Gene Riley.
