John Tinsley Pratt

John Tinsley Pratt of Tupelo, MS was born March 15, 1953 in Hayti, MO, the son of the late Alton Lee and Ruby Ellen Russom Pratt. Mr. Pratt was a retired building project developer with Simon Properties. He was a member of the South Green Baptist Church in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Mr. Pratt departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Courtyards Community Living Center in Fulton, Mississippi at the age of 69 Years, 4 Months, 22 Days.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Rhonda Shree Howell Pratt; sons, Jonathan Blake Pratt and Joshua Lee Pratt; a daughter, Becca Michelle Lacks and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Lindsay and Gabe Lacks; great-grandchildren, Luca Smith and Robin Lacks; brother, Douglas Dean Pratt; sisters, Deloras Jean Russell, Deborah Jan Alley, Frances Ellen Clemmons; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pratt was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Pratt.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in Prater's Chapel Cemetery, Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will Wednesday, from 11 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gabe Lacks, Steve Lacks, Jonathan Pratt, Josh Pratt, Chandler Gipson and Randy Claiborne with John Alley, Doug Pratt, Terry Alley and Richard Alley serving as honorary pallbearers.
