John Thomas Patterson

John Thomas Patterson, 63, of Bolivar, departed this life Friday, June 7, 2024, at Bolivar General Hospital.

He was born Thursday, January 26, 1961, in Jackson, son of the late John Lee Patterson and Hattie  D. Adkins Patterson and moved to this area when he was 9 years old.  He worked at Sequentia for 25 years and also was with the Hardeman County Rescue Squad for 15 years.  He enjoyed hunting and anything to do with the Civil War, being an avid collector for many years.

Private family only memorial services will take place at a later date.

Survivors include his sisters, Teresa White of Bolivar and Rose Ann Webb of Rutherford; a brother,  Gary Patterson (Nancy) of Bolivar; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.  Memorial donations in his name may be sent to the Hardeman County Rescue Squad, PO Box 244, Bolivar, TN 38008.
