John Robert Nelms

Mr. Nelms passed away early Sunday morning at McNairy County Health Care in Selmer.
He was the son of the late Sidney and Evelyn Stamey Nelms and lived most all of his life in Hardeman County. A member of the New Bethany Church of Christ, he worked in the sawmill and timber cutting industries and also in automotive service.
He leaves two sisters, Pauline Stewart of Middleton and Mildred Bryan of Smyrna; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Dowty and three brothers, Frank, Marlin and Bill Nelms.
