John Franklin Moore

Services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Thursday, Dec. 9, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro





Mr. Moore departed this life on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN at the age of 71 Years, 7 Months, 18 Days. He was born April 18, 1939 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late Homer Neil and Lourie Pearl Keeton Moore. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn (Moore) Franks.



Mr. Franklin was retired from TDS Telephone Company as a lineman . He was a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



He was united in marriage to Martha Lynn Ary on June 26, 1959.



He is survived by his wife Martha Lynn (Ary) Moore; daughter, Lisa (Moore) McNutt ; son, Steven Moore all of Waynesboro, TN; granddaughters; Andrea Franks and husband Tim of Florence, Ala and Nicole Dempsey and husband Shane of New Hope, Ala; great granddaughters; Audrey and Allyson Franks
