John D. McNatt

John D. McNatt was born April 24, 1935 in Brownsville, Tennessee the son of the late Travis and Gertrude Woods McNatt.Mr. McNatt was a Personell Director for Henry County Medical Center before retirement in 1995. He was in the National Guard for many years, a graduate of Lambuth University, a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Paris, TN, and a chairman for the Damascus Road of Paris, TN. Mr. McNatt participated in the Auxiliary at the Henry County Hospital, the Rotary club, American Cancer Society, the Kiwanis and he loved fishing.Mr. McNatt departed this life on April 8, 2009 in Bruceton, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 11 Months, 15 Days.He is survived by his wife Ellen (Pruett) McNatt of Paris, TN; a son, John David McNatt Jr. of Martin, TN; two stepsons, Robert Tower and wife Tracy and Billy Tower both of Paris, TN; a stepgrandson, Brian Tower; a special friend, Jere Medlin of Maryland and a host of other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. McNatt was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Steadman) McNatt and a special cousin, Robert McNatt Jr.
