John E. McAfee

John E. McAfee was born January 27, 1930 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Nathaniel Egbert and Rosie Dgail Woods McAfee.Mr. McAfee was owner of Eastview Shell service station and a truck driver for many years for Horton's. He served his country honorably in the United States Military. He was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Ramer, TN, the VFW in Corinth, MS and the Moose Lodge in Selmer, TN.Mr. McAfee departed this life on January 7, 2012 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 81 Years, 11 Months, 11 Days. He is survived by a brother, Jamie McAfee and wife Betty of Michie, TN; a sister, Maude Edwards of Michie, TN; two children, Johnny and Valinda; host of nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. McAfee was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie McAfee; three brothers, Guy McAfee, Jim McAfee, Troy McAfee; three sisters, Zeb Morgan, Lillian Lambert, Ruth Feazell.



Serving as pallbearers were the VFW Post 3962 in Corinth, MIssissippi.
