John Mark Browder

John Mark Browder, born on May 22, 1945 in Selmer, TN to the late Robert Homer and Lorene Jones Browder of Tennessee, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He passed away in Florence, Alabama on June 18, 2023 at the age of 78 Years, 27 Days. 

On June 5, 1965, he married Jean Byrd and together they shared 58 years of marriage. Mr. Browder worked for several years for Mark III Brokerage Firm and previously owned/operated Cedar Gables gifts and collectibles with his wife.

Mr. Browder had an active lifestyle which featured spending quality time with his family, traveling to different places including the beach and mountains for vacations. He was an avid bird hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Creekside Church in Florence, AL.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Browder; sons Kevin Browder and David Browder and wife Holly all of Shady Valley, TN; two grandchildren, Robert Christopher Browder and wife Hannah and Victoria Nicole Browder; nephews, Mark Elton Browder, Robert Benedict Browder, Daniel Klemp Browder, and Neil Justin Browder; sister-in-law, Joyce Browder of Shady Valley, TN; the wonderful Byrd family including brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews; and a host extended family and friends.

Mr. John Mark Browder will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Donald Browder.
