John Edward Learue

John Edward Learue John Edward Learue was born on Wednesday, December 13, 1933, the son of the late Radie Learue and Bertha Mae Clayton Learue. He owned and operated Learue Grocery Store in the Morton community of McNairy County.Mr. Learue served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958 during the Korean conflict then spent 10 years in the active reserve. He married Peggy Landreth on January 7, 1963. He was a faithful member of Better Hope Primitive Baptist Church.Mr. Learue departed this life on Monday, July 17, 2006, in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 4 days. Survivors are his wife Peggy Learue; their son John Robert Learue and wife Wendy; grandson John Carter Learue; and sister Nina Pearl Copeland all of Adamsville, Tennessee.
