John David Lawson

John David Lawson was born November 16, 1947 in Corinth, Mississippi the son of the late Brodie and Mary Rhodes Lawson.He was united in marriage to Janice Suggs on June 26, 1970.Mr. Lawson was the former owner of Lawson Welding, Inc. He was a charter member of the Unity Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He served on the Board of Directors for Pickwick Electric and was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam war. Mr. Lawson departed this life at his home on December 30, 2005 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 1 Month, 14 Days.He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janice Suggs Lawson of Ramer; two sons, Chris Lawson and wife Kandi and Brandon Lawson and wife Cory all of Haleyville, Alabama; three brothers, Mike Lawson and wife Connie of Middleton, and Jimmy and Jerry Lawson both of Bolivar; four grandchildren, John-Miller Lawson, John David (Jack) Lawson, II, Christopher Hudson Lawson and Mary-Scott Israel; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Troy and Dorothy Suggs of Ramer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
