John (Jack) D. Martin

John Denzel Martin was born January 20, 1933 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Luke and Catherine Ann Martin.

He was united in marriage to Patsy Ann Hunt. Mrs. Martin preceded him in death on June 15, 2001.

Mr. Martin retired as a truck driver. He had also worked for State of TN Forestry Management in Somerville, TN. He loved the outdoors and deer hunting. He served his country honorably in the United States Army.

Mr. Martin departed this life on January 9, 2021 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 11 Months, 20 Days. He is survived by two daughters, Frankie Morgan of Florence, AL, Patricia Davis of Holly Springs, MS; stepdaughter, Angelea Long; three stepsons, Ronnie, Donnie, and John Dukes; eight grandchildren, Brittney Crum, Brandon Beld, Hunter Morgan, Kenny Young, Makayla Dukes, Steven Dukes, J.D. Martin, Zach Martin; six great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
