John Crowell

John Crowellwas born in Milledgeville, Tennessee on February 22, 1930 the son of the late Jim Franklin and Sallie Rickman Crowell. On December 3, 1949 he was united in marriage to Wilma Sue Martin, who survives.Mr. Crowell retired from Caterpillar Tractor Inc. as a welder. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and the UAW Union. In addition to Hardin County, Tennessee he had also lived in East Peoria, Illinois.Mr. Crowell departed this life on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the age of 80 years, 8 months, 24 days.In addition to his wife, Wilma, Mr. Crowell is survived by his daughter, Susan Lynn Cohenour of Santa Clarita, California; 2 grandchildren, Kristina Gonzalez and Anthony J. (T.J.) Cohenour; a great grandchild, Johnny Gonzalez.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Michael Crowell; 2 brothers, J.C. and James Albert Crowell; 3 sisters, Eleanor Crowell Leek, Reba Nell Crowell Stanford, and Betty R. Crowell Wilkerson; a great grandchild, Justin Gonzalez.
