John Collins

John Wesley Collins was born July 18, 1947 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late William Thomas and Beulah Dale Kelley Collins. Mr. Collins was united in marriage to Dianne Roberts on November 25, 1972. He retired as a truck driver for Wayne County Solid Waste and was a member of Ray's Chapel in Waynesboro, TN. Mr. Collins departed this life on November 29, 2022 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 11 days.

He is survived by wife, Dianne Roberts Collins of Waynesboro, TN; son, Michael John Collins of Hohenwald, TN; daughters, Candy Collins of Hohenwald, TN, Elizabeth AnnaMarie Collins Davey and husband George of Savannah, TN; brother, Vernan Collins of Savannah, TN; sister, Joyce Norato and husband Fred; five grandchildre; ten great grandchildren; and special friends, Connie Berry and Richard Massa.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm service time at Shields Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Shields Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Blaze Painter, Blake Painter, Stethon Martin, Richard Massa, and Jerry Baugh.
