John Christopher Coats

John Christopher Coats departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the age of 46 years and 28 days. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 24, 1975, the son of Mary Frances Webb Coats and Ronald Lee Coats. He was united in marriage to April Bates, who survives.

John was raised in Savannah, Tennessee and graduated from Hardin County High School. He later moved to Corinth, Mississippi and became a member of Tate Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and being with his daughter.

John is survived by his wife, April Bates Coats of Corinth, Mississippi; daughter, Madison Coats of Corinth, Mississippi; stepsons, Nicholas Bates and Jordan Martin, both of Red Bay, Alabama; and parents, Mary Webb Coats of Corinth, Mississippi and Ronald Coats and his wife Kay of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Sue Coats and Thurmon and "Granny" Webb.
