was born on February 25, 1975 in Jackson, Tennessee. He departed this life on October 27, 2005 at his home in Milledgeville, Tennessee.
"Big A" is survived by his mother, Barbara English Melson of Savannah, Tennessee; his father, John Larry Melson of Savannah, Tennessee; his wife, April Kelley Melson of Milledgeville, Tennessee; a daughter, Savannah Melson and a son, Johnathan Melson, both of Milledgeville, Tennessee; a sister, Jennifer Ann Melson of Florence, Alabama; his step-father, James Montgomery of Savannah, Tennessee; and extended family, Donald and Kim Kelley of Adamsville, Tennessee and Homer and Janet Robertson of Adamsville, Tennessee. He is also survived by his two faithful companions, Cricket and Pixi; a special friend, Dr. Arthur Williams of Brentwood, Tennessee and a host of friends and relatives who loved him dearly.
"Big A" was preceded in death by a grandmother, Nancy English of Savannah, Tennessee; a grandfather, John Henry Melson of Savannah, Tennessee; and an aunt, Myrtie Poindexter of Riverdale, Georgia.
