JoEtta McClain

JoEtta Sweat McClain was born June 6, 1926 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Claude and Ocie Foster Sweat.Mrs. McClain was united in marriage to Earl McClain on June 29, 1946. Mr. McClain preceded her in death on May 24, 1990.She was a Homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Selmer, Tennessee.Mrs. McClain departed this life on May 23, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days.She is survived by a sister-n-law, Louise G. Sweat of Saltillo, MS; a niece, Deborah Blaylock of Guntown, MS; three nephews, Joel R. Sweat of Saltillo, MS, J. E. Sims of Mantachie, MS and Mike Sims of Saltillo, MS and a host of great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McClain was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Ramer Sims; two brothers, Joel and Raymond Lee Sweat.
