Joe Lance White

Joe Lance White of Collinwood, TN was born September 28, 1946 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late Farris and Josie Pruitt White. Mr. White served in the United States Army approximately 10 years with three tours in Vietnam and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. Mr. White departed this life on Monday,November 28, 2011 at his home at the age of 65 Years, 2 Months.He is survived by a half-brother, Roy Knight of Killen, AL; a half-sister, Nancy Arnold of San Antonio, TX; a stepson, Randall Whitehead, a step-daughter, Gayla Whitehead, long time companion, Lois Whitehead, two step-great-grandchildren all of Iron City, TN; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bobby Rich officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
